Sounds like you had a good run Multi ? Day off for me today after 14 yesterday. I'll be treading in your footsteps tomorrow mind. I'll be at 12 Apostles around 2.45 if anybody's around ? And if you see me, then it will probably be me. Possibly.

I saw Mudclawed at Firbank fell today, took me a couple of minutes to remember who it was though haven't seen him in a while!
'LeedsRhino' introduced himself to me at the 'PECO' cross-country this morning at Temple Newsam
How about giving points for spotting people? Like I-Spy books or Score class Mountain Marathons. I saw IanDarkpeak & ydt today, but they're so easy to find there shouldn't be many points for them. 5 for Ian, 10 for Yiannis? Maybe 10 for me too. Definitely 60 for anyone on the forum living abroad though. And if you spot anyone on the forum you have to call out "you are IanDarkpeak and I claim my 5 points" - or whoever you've spotted. One big bonus would be that half the forum would probably start running heavily disguised - false beards etc - to avoid the embarrassment of being recognised. It could literally change the face of fellrunning.
No? oh all right then, I'll get my anorak.
You might be onto something. What about Fell Runner Top Trumps....Climbing, Descending, Flat Speed, Guts, Credibility, Beer/Pie consumption being the most obvious points categories.
Extra points for spotting face plants or going up to the thighs in a bog.
'Guts' in a literal or metaphorical sense mano? :o:o
Yeah, I could earn mega points....climber with paunch and big pie habit.
Going back quite a while, on the other forum before it got hacked / nuked, we had this kind of discussion.
I offered to make some form of identification for forum members and quite a few of us ended up with some little ribbons on our bumbags bearing our forum name and the website address - mines still going strong.
Right then you lot, nail your forum colours to the mast...
Edit your signature today, like this......
Ive still got mine - ever present in my pin box but rarely gets an outing thesedays. Wore it at Borrowdale when i think the job lot were made for that race - that takes me back to forum-past...
Me: Alright Jason.
Crowhill: Takes headphones out, Pardon?
Me: It's Steve.
Crowhill: No, sorry.
Me: No i'm Steve, your Jason.
Crowhill: Oh right, couldn't see you for the headtorch.
Me on bike, Crowhill running, least i think it was Crowhill:confused:
Pretty sure it was me though.
Wasn't me.
Ran round the Wuthering Hike route today. There were two of us in our brand new matching gigantic bright yellow Hoka shoes (aka "Sponge Bobs").
We literally saw more runners (I think about 16) than walkers, and one mountain biker who looked remarkably like legendary fell champion Ian Holmes - were any of them you?
Ian Holmes wasn't me:wink:
There was a blond running lady at Ogden today, but she wasn't me.
Yeah, yeah.
I wasn't me either.(yawn emoticon)
Is this thread a version of Mornington Crescent? Am I missing something?
Dplkit)
This thread isn't quite working out as well as the one on the Mitsubishi Delica Owners' Club forum. Shift+R improves the quality of this image.
That sixth glass of wine that I've just quaffed isn't me.
But then again, now that I've drunk it, I suppose it's more me than David Beckham is. hic
Saw a group of runners out today going through Carlton towards Otley Chevin (where I had just been). Anyone here?
It wasn't me !
Saw a lot of Walsh studmarks while out running yesterday. Yes, they even know about them down here! Were any of them you(rs)?
To whoever shouted "Hiya Tim" near swastika stone on Saturday...
It wasn't him.
Graham
it wasnt me
it wasnt me
Met two nice ladies just up past the swastika stone today, who complimented my dog on his politeness for letting them come through a stile before he jumped it. If either of them red this,
"was it you...?"
The pile of flailing limbs trying out a novel new way of descending on Carlside yesterday?
Definitely not me...
Was it me? bum slide in the snow down from Mount Famine into Dimpus clough, squealing like a girl with excitement, during the Kinder Trial on Saturday.
definitely me. I definitely squealed like a girl. don't mind admitting it either :) (I am a girl afterall)
I saw two different pairs of blokes running up Sharp Haw on Sunday (mid-dayish). One guy in particualr was really tall and wearing both knee length running tights and a small bobbleless bobble hat/cap that, taken together, had the effect of making him look er..... extra long and gangly :). Was it you?
I saw someone doing a recce of the Rombald's Stride at the weekend Stolly. Was it you? :p
I saw a dumpy brown bird on Bleaklow on Sunday, told me to "go back". Think it was Grouse.
Wasn't me.
