Fartleck round local housing estate. Run like stink up every cul-de-sac, jog a bit and go again. Felt surprisingly good. . . sweating like a pig now
Good effort.
13 runs in 13 days now
A wee head-torch on Ilkley Moor yesterday evening brought up 15 consecutive days of running
I also did it for a while as a V50 too you know :).
And nobody called me a beacon of virtue :(
It's not every day I get called a beacon of virtue by a living legend. Purveyor of briney Coke, one of less than 20 associate members of the BG Club and the man who once shouted at me across a misty and sleety mountain top: "Hey Andy, didn't you used to be a fat lad?!" I'll be floating on air on tonight's run out
19 days on the trot now
Fell over on tarmac tonight. I was very lucky because I only have a few scratches and scrapes. 23 days now
What's the haps d-minus?
Don't you have Family Guy down the Moderator's Suite? Stew-roids, when Stewie gets hooked on steroids and starts calling Brian B-Minus??
I don't know...there's obviously too much latin spoken down t'suite nowadays, what about the Castleford parlance:
Aahz-tha gannin-owd cock?
We don't have a tv. I'm vaguely aware of the program Family Guy but have no idea really what it is
Anyway I ran 3.5 miles on a disused railway line trail tonight; my 38th day of consecutive running . . .
Vaguely aware...what the deuce?? Get to youtube for a crash course, here's a sample to get you going...

I speed read your post there and thought you were claiming to have run on a disused railway to celebrate your 38th birthday!
You're going well anyway, i felt like i'd had a Dr Nick lung transplant earlier today, worst (flu) episode ever.
42 days done and going to have a look at "The Round" on my kindle to celebrate
Day 53 today and my fifth day in South Bavaria, approx 60 K from Munich. I'll be running in Yorkshire tomorrow
60 days done . . . shorts definitely looser
71 days done now . . .
What's the longest and shortest run?
Nothing spectacular: longest circa 6 miles and shortest probably "a long mile", bearing in mind I don't wear a watch or Garmin, or use Strava
Not been out today yet but it's day 76. Bit damp around these parts but I'm sure we'll find somewhere for a run out
81 days done
You don't like round numbers
Ran twice round Low Mill. Had to wear gloves. Feeling the cold now I'm so thin ;)
Well done Tup. You're being sensible with this running everyday malarkey; six miles or less. Once you're up towards 10 miles per day on a regular basis, that's when you need to start factoring in a rest day per week. Otherwise you start to breakdown and tire yourself.
All The Best, Ian.
Upped the distance this weekend with 4 miles road Friday, hilly 5 on road yesterday and muddy off-road 6 this morning. 83 days done now; 23 day better than previous longest "streak"
90th consecutive day running done with a mix of road, trail and shingle
Run 97 was a dash round the village earlier this evening. Hoping to spend Wednesday evening (run #100) with KCAC headtorch pals
103 days. Thinking about getting a watch and starting to measure my runs too. Probably not mind . . .
112 days now . . . without a watch, Garmin or Strava
117 days with a mile road "saver"
A 'saver'? Not too much cheese and port i hope...
My xmas diet of bombay broccoli and grumpiness is keeping me going nicely.
A 'streak saver'. 9.1 miles today - a good chunk of our local skyline
