Promotion and Relegation
With so many teams last year (69, the most we've had in the 8 years of the competition) I had set promotion & relegation to form 3 leagues this year - I reckon that its better to have no more than 20 or so in a league to make it exciting through the year, with either promotion or relegation a real possibility for a good number of teams.
But then we've dropped to 37 teams this year, the lowest number we've ever had.
So... lets go to two leagues next year.
To that end, promotion and relegation will be:
TSD: the top 9 teams will stay in the top league next year, the bottom 6 teams will be relegated to the 2nd league
BS: the top 5 teams will be promoted to the top league next year, the bottom 4 teams will be relegated to the 2nd league
K: the top 7 teams will be promoted to the top league next year, the bottom 6 teams will be in the 2nd league
As before, the winner of the TSD league and the cup winner will both win free entry into the Castle Carr fell race that I organise.
I'm going to risk it and make my two subs early:
