Any advice on footwear? Seem to remember it's all on good paths and trails. I expect it will be fairly dry as well.

Is anyone else going to be there?
I'm number '16', so say "Hello" to me, as you run effortlessly past me:p

i'll be there.
entry on the day so no idea what number I'll be. P&B vest and a red face at the end should be easy to spot!
I'm there guys, should be fun. I'm doing a 10k on thursday night but should be fresh for monday. See you there.....
If the weather's the same up there, as in Wakefield, it's going to be a wet one!
Didn't see you after Adam, how did you get on? I had a good run, finished 16th (I think) in 46mins flat. First Horsforth Harrier home which was nice :)
Had a good day, my nephew ran in the under 8's race and finished pretty well, especially considering he went the wrong way at the start and had to overtake the entire field. Think he came in the top ten though. Shame it was a bit damp but not too bad
pleased with my run. 49:15, so just made it under 50! not sure about my position, probably 40ish. i was first P&B home too and you have to travel far and wide for that to happen! (mind you there were only 2!). i thought conditions were pretty good really, better than the bake-off last year. but not for the supporters and marshalls!
you best get over to the forum ladder! really good run by the way, i must improve if i wanna claim my spot back.
It wasn't as good a time as I'd wanted (but we all say that!), I finished a couple of seconds behind a club-mate who'd caught me up over the last mile, so both of us were around the 53:20 mark
Still a decent time Richard, don't beat yourself up.
Just realised that I didn't collect anything after the race, was there a memento or something? What was it? Never mind, bit late now like....
A kit/shoe-bag

Nice pictures. I think I recognised the glamorous 154 wearing a Bingley vest. She used to be a regular runner in the Hyde Park Time Trials (Park Run). Is this an example of where Park Runs can get you?
She's still a regular parkrunner, just at the Bradford one now. She has always been pretty fast, but parkruns have just put the icing on top!

Enjoy the bank holiday weekend and hope to see some of you there.

My first race in the MV80 category. Fantastic route that suited me to a T, well flagged and marshalled - and wonderful weather to boot. Just hope I'm fit enough to run it again next year!
Had pre-entered, but extremely, & most definately, peeved that an ongoing knee injury hadn't healed enough to make it worth risking running this event (& going back to 'square 1')
Shame you had to miss this highly recommended race. Ah well, there's always next year!
I've been off for a while with my iffy ankles. Decided to do Ilkley Trail as a bit of a tester. Great course (not too severe), organised (well marshalled) and a fun day out. I thought I'd picked up first MV45 but the prize went to an MV50 who had beaten me. No problem with that but I'm interested to know what others think.
May I say a big, if slightly belated thankyou to the Organisers, plus all the Marshalls and Helpers for another excellent race.
It was as good as I remembered from 2011, but I was rather miffed that another injury (& subsequent lack of training/mileage) knocked my time w-a-y back compared to 2011)
Oh well, that's life! - see you all at next years event, or at the 'I M F-R'
