A few more markers in that area would have been good as the path kind of disappeared at that point.

(sadly did'nt make it to Dufton, a number of pals did)
Results anyone?
1st few in categories?
Lisa Lacon (Holmfirth) 1st lady - I think new course rec but TBC with results
Jo Waites (Calder valley) 2nd lady - I believe she took a tumble
Nice account by someone running yesterday: http://heliospanoptes.blogspot.com/2...fell-race.html
Cracking race yesterday - something for everyone including a long, fast, very runnable descent once you got out of the wind. A bit of a change from the round of local 4 mile xcountry races over the winter. Good community effort, and thanks to Morgan for organising it.
Jim Davies (Borrowdale) was 1st man in a new record time. He was also first vet, but with the one-runner, one-prize rule in operation Andy Schofield (also Borrowdale) took the first vet prize. I can't remember who was first v50, but Dave Tait (Dark Peak) was first vet 60.
With Simon Booth also in the top 4 or so, Borrowdale unsurprisingly won the team prize.
Linda Lacon (Holmfirth) was first lady. Wendy Dodds (Clayton) was first lady vet 50.
Got these from Morgan Donelly just now, Word document too large to post according to the error message I got so posted as notepad file, spacing is a little wonky but all info is there.

topofahill,
I remember you passing me shortly before you took this picture (me in yellow vest), you had a small silver camera. Out of interest what make and model is it?
You took some real good in-race photos with it! Did you use the same camera last year too?
