By my reckoning thats a stile every 400m or so, be bit like interval training.
Hope there's no instances of stile rage!

Really so many stiles, I think I'll give it a miss.
Im looking forward to this, first fell race of the year. Did it as my first ever last year, so hopefully my time will have improved!
Looks like there ll be alot of people having a run, more than last year i rekon. Should be fun on the narrow bits, through the heather and at the stiles :D
I fancy a run round the course in the afternoon as I've nothing better to do and it's only 5 miles.
Anybody free to show me the way or anyone know what time the course will be flagged by?
Are you offering to help with the flagging?
RR, are you running the senior race?
No im not im being a hare for u14s cause i picked up a slight injury
Hell, those under 14's can run - make sure you get a good start :D
I will be having a good head start
See you there!
Hi folks,
What time do the junior races start?
In the handbook it says 18:30, but on the Rossy website it says 18:50, after the seniors set off.
Bill, are you running tonight? a couple of us are coming over see will maybe see you there
adam was classed as a vet in the hobble, now under 8, very deceptive for is age:D
sadly had to teach tonight. Pupils have exams tomorrow. Let me know how you all got on :)
You should have followed me! I sussed them out when I ran the course at 5pm. Took me 65 min.
Managed 48 min in the race, 10 min faster than last year - much better conditions.
Pleased to meet so many forumites and especially Brett who I hadn't met before.
Thanks to the organisers for a great race and Steve Bateson for taking the pictures.
They should be on his site fairly soon.
Swoop, thanks for the intro to Brett, father and mother to the forum.
Any ideas where the results will appear?
I suspect they will be on Rossendale Harriers and John Schofield 's UK Results.
Good race tonight in superb conditions. The results were up in the club house after the race so they should not take too long to get on here. I did not think the congestion at the stiles was too bad, although a few people did nip over the barbed wire fences to jump the queues!
The photos are listed on Steve Bateson's site but the link doesn't appear to be clickable. Or is it just me?
Children had a great evening. Their friend Pete even ended up doing the senior race instead of the junior one. Everyone was only worried for about half an hour. Thanks to everyone who went out looking for him.
Big thanks to Pengy for helping out with Jolivers as usual. :)
Hi Brett - Anne apologises for not being able to hold a conversation with you, but she was struggling for breath at the time. :D
or was that the oversized vest hiding the bulge
