In amongst the things that one can see from space are The Great Wall of China and Pete's orange thing....
Al.
haven't seen any info on this this year
has it been cancelled?
is it defunct?
I know it's not on. I don't know why not though.
Shame, its a cracking race and well worth doing,
Does anyone have a route description or gps trace of this race?
I am thinking of making it part of the family's expedition to North Wales in the summer. I have had a ferret on the interwizzle and can't find anything, except that it used to be called Leg End 9. after the pub I think.
It's now an Eryri Harriers race - nothing about it on their website yet but I'm sure there will be!
cheers. as you say nothing on their website..yet.
if Eryri Harriers have taken on the organisation would you think it will transform ti from the 'low-key' race of yesteryear into something a bit different?
it's this Sunday I think
sliiight possibility I might be there...
There's a PDF of the route on the Team Dolly website:

On WFRA site.EVENTS Online entry preferred.
Thanks to the Organisers and Marshalls - good run - a bit too warm for me - struggled when I hit a wall @ 3.5 miles - but got a 2nd wind and plodded home. some quick times at the front. well done to all
Yes, it was a good day with some welcome sunshine (never too warm for me). I don't think you were supposed to 'hit' that wall - just run alongside it up the hill! It was a bit of a step up in my 'recovery' and I came down the final descent like an old man but .. the goal is long.
Well Stagger was on his travels to North Wales and found a gem of a race.

Cracking event, thanks to Ellie and her team on putting on a brilliant race.
Would recommend this to anyone who fancies a tough but mainly runnable with route choices.
Close to the main coast dual carriage way so easy access.
I hope to be back for another crack at this one.
You lucky fellow finding one of our North Wales gems - there should be a snap of you here!

Another super day at the Gladstone 9.
48 hardy soles set off and 45 arrived back after completing the route.
A tough race with route choices available in parts but good for a hard runner who can work hard.
Thank you to the organiser and the marshals who put in this splendid race.
Love this race - nice one Ellie!! Was David Soles (Pennine) there by any chance?
Still in Australia doing parkruns, etc but should be back for the FRA Relays.

I really enjoyed my first go at this, although I laboured somewhat after an injury layoff, it was a cracking route in a really interesting area. The descent from the summit of Foel Lus was great, full tilt to the finish and great flapjack's :-)
