thanks for this merry i really enjoyed reading it, i love the way Joss uses the word "magic" a lot in his accounts of his love of fell running and nature...i particularly liked this bit in the article, v inspiring...

A top surgeon told Joss after removing two discs from his back that if he wanted to be an athlete his potential was “one in a million”.

well he is certainly that!

Aye, magic like, i like this bit;)

“Whenever I’ve trained it’s never become a bore, I’ve always got up in the morning and said ‘Thank the Lord I’m here, what am I going to do today’? If I’m going to run 30 miles I run 30 miles and just enjoy it. When I come back home I am thankful I have been able to do it.

“That’s the way to look at life, get up in the morning and work from there.”
