If you mean the plank that used to cross near the derelict builidings then that has been gone for long time.
this one: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X...0667&A=Y&Z=115
I didn't attempt the full set, but I quite often do a few as training (5 yesterday)
Thats the one. I used to cross there years ago and run along the path to the base of fairbrook.
There may have been one there since my last trip past but not sure.
It (wooden footbridge) was there when Gloss did the KD back in May this year, and a few of us supported them on the plateau. See Zephr's post on one page above.
I know it was there since I ran back from Fairbrook Naze to my car at Snake Summit via the bridge, and then up the grouse butts (east bank of Upper Gate Clough) on the landy track over the Featherbed Top back to SS.

PS. I don't have a photo, but I dont see how a sturdy wooden bridge like that could have gottenwashed away in this year's weather!?
Funnily enough, I contemplated running that area this morning at 8.30am, but instead John4of5 and I voted for Bleaklow instead.
I was up there early this morning Daz. No sign of the small foot bridge but the path into the wood was closed due to timber felling the sign said.
Yep - that Footbridge disappeared sometime this year. Quite a sturdy one from memory.
We ran down from Mill Hill area down towards Fairbrook and I couldn't help noticing as we ran down just how much the path (trod) had been completely obliterated by rain washout.
Therefore, it wasn't that much of a surprise that when we got to the bridge, we saw it had gone.
Must have been pretty epic up there June / July time this year ?
