thanks ady most helpfull , did it 3 or 4 years ago and remember parking down the lane. see some of you there :-)
Give us a smile up Beamsley Beacon - I'll be the one holding the camera :D
Have a good day, I would rather be running it again rather that poncing about with the camera!!
I'll be there again this year. Was my first race of this sort of distance last year, and really enjoyed it. My aim is to see if I can knock some time off last years time. And at least at this LDWA is won't have to rely on other people as I know the route for this one :D Might see a few people there but most likely won't recognise anyone.
Well, I had a cracking vantage point lazing around on Beamsley Beacon with my flask and camera. Apologies to the leader at this point as due to a couple of technical issues you were both blurred and way underexposed...............sorry!
Anyway, pics are online now at Sportsunday and below is a pic of Mr P from Tod Harriers:

Fantastic route today and a really well organised and catered event. Thanks to all the organisers for a job well done. Thanks too to all the friendly people I chatted with en route and at the end, always makes these events a pleasure to enter. :D
Hope the guy who smashed his face up a bit - with a cadburys creme egg size lump on his head and bloody nose - is ok. Well done for finishing despite the injury.
Ady you're a cruel man taking photo's near the top of a long climb!! Would have loved to have run for the camera but my legs didn't think it was a good idea!!
'Twas a grand day out, many thanks. Very dry, apart from Thatch Ling, and nowhere like as windy as last year. Just soaking up half a gallon or so of home brew to re-hydrate.
Thanks for the photos, Ady. I was going so slow you got three of me.
Well done to Chevinbytorchlight for finishing first  (Just seen your FB update).
Really well run event today, congrats to the organisers for the great weather and ground conditions!!
Ady - it was me leading up Beamsley. Gutted the photo didn't turn out as I was intending that to be my present to myself in lieu of a prize...but never mind. Good to meet you and thanlks for the encouragement.
1st time doing this one and i'll be back for more, CP's were really well manned (and stocked), really well done to all involved in putting it on!
A first for me to . Loved it, except perhaps the last 2 miles when I struggled to hold it together. Great organisation and lovely route. Thanks for waiting til I was jogging again before you took the photo Ady and gald the weather was good to you.
