High Peak 40

So am i right in thinking that for this one - there isn't a worded description - it is the checkpoints from the info e mailed and PINK ARROWS???

Yes pretty much
They do put up a map up in registration and I did ammend the route I had highlighted on my map the first year. There were not many sections where I was totally on my own, although I did makeone error the first year but reckon it cost me 5-10 mins max. There are some pink arrows but some do seem to get 'moved' sometimes - last year I saw some that I swear were notthere the year before!

Just had a look through this year's route info, & it looks unchanged from last year apart from CP9 having moved a little further along the Monsal Trail to the end of the viaduct (where you drop off the Trail to follow the valley). I'm planning to run on Saturday, although I'm still coughing a bit. Lurgi for 3 weeks now, & I'm sick of it!

So that's been you on Milton Lane cheering us on in past years has it Marvin? I'll throw you a friendly cough on my way past...

See you on Sat Andy. Not sure how my R ankle and L knee will hold up but I will be there to give it a go.
I am sure that is where the checkpoint was on the viaduct last year? Kissing gate off viaduct and down narrowish path into grassy area? Don't think it will be as hot and sunny as the last 2 years
