Awww bless! :) Well you were pretty high up on that finishers list...and how come you never look tired???
I could do with some coaching AK...need to buck my ideas up if I want to do PPP 2010!
And as for that Nee Bother fella....well he never said he'd make it up to me!!!
Encouragement?????? I remember shouting "haway DJ tak the bloody handbrake off:eek::D"
Hope you enjoyed the run...the marshalls were freezing!! I went straight from work with no waterproofs and got soaked through...then I went and watched Sunderlands dismal loss at the local!!
Nowt to be scared of matey....not sure which runs Ak means but a steady jog over the moors would be a hoot, DJ is too much of a gentleman & AK is very very old so probably couldn't keep up anyways....(right thats 2 more off me Xmas list...ahm saving a fortune now)
And it would be nee bother having a bit craic whilst trotting along.
Just re read this and it don't make sense but...have another sip :p
I did mean moors training runs over winter MG, NB, My mate and I (him off the tele) and sometimes missus and her mate run/jog/ walk from Osmotherly, Great Ayton, Clay bank, Lord Stones and other places, usually end up for tea and cakes at the end of it all. If you did those races I reckon last place is reserved for someone else and not you MG, but we would wait for you!!!!!!
I am that old I keep forgetting who you are,is that young Ken with the daft hat???????????? You can still train with us cos i have forgot why you upset me in the first place................
Just getting over a dodgy cold , first outing on Saturday at Reeth ,nice and slow.
Deejay, I think your insertion of a grinning smiley after the word 'young' is not at all the kind of thing one associates with a man who habitually dons both spats and cravats. One had thought One more of a Gentleman, and one must insist upon an immediate apology for employing an emoticon with such cavalier impropriety. Failing this, one must defend the honour of Madame Goatess and 'twill be Energy Gels at dawn from twenty paces...
Mmm, methinks (sorry Stolly) Tussockface has just slapped Deejay across the face with a damp sealskinz glove:eek:
On an entirely different subject, I found myself standing next to Fell Pony Chris J today, whilst waiting (in pouring rain) for the Number 36 bus to pass.
Ye gads Sir! As a scion of the oldest and most notable family in all of of Monkseaton, I must say that to be upbraided in such a manner by one of your relatively low standing is not something that we are accustomed to. I therefore beg to inform you that I find I must stand by everything which I alluded to at the time in question.
I shall be pleased to give you satisfaction (no sniggering Merrylegs) at th etime and place of your choosing.
Golf on Tuesday as usual?
Anyone heard anything about next year's limited edition Pony vests? Seem to remember Amex posting that he had something special in mind
