Fantastic ChevinbyTorchlight, what time did you get? Your 1:52 split at CP7 was quite impressive
I got shut of the cumbersum lens that gave me hassle today via Ebay this afternoon!!!
I did manage to capture the 1st Lady who was dancing up the ridge:

Re: Blubberhouses 25
Finished in 3:06 or thereabouts. Went well enough until Ellercar Pike, had to talk myself in to keeping it going til I got back to Swinsty, shuffled across the damn , and then died on my a**e coming back up through the fields. Found it a bit hot towards the end so maybe should have been drinking more earlier on. ALl in all a good session though, very pleased.
Great picture of Karen.....very jealous!! ;o)

Re: Blubberhouses 25
Well what a good event that was! Three of us from Trawden ran it together (only because we couldn't keep up with Jim who finished 4th) & tried to keep it as social as possible. We even stopped to take piccies.
The cake at Deerstones, especially the lemon drizzle, was brilliant, as was the stew at the end.
Meant to ask if that was you Ady on Beamsley, good pics there! And Karen, that was us three who were running near you, when we kept passing each other, nice to meet you, albeit unofficially! You were going really well there
For some bizarre reason we got round far quicker than intended in 3.52, must be because we weren't racing, I'd have probably been slower if we were!
Definately one for the calender next year

Re: Blubberhouses 25
If you happen to have ordered a piccy via Sportsunday (does not concern ChevinbyTorchlight :-( there are Internet connection issues at the moment due to a provider swap which should be resolved on Tuesday.............................technology - great when it works innit!

Re: Blubberhouses 25
Anyone else entered this year's event (on 1 April) yet?
My first time running this but knowing the majority of the route I think I just need to have a look at the Thruscross to Rocking Hall and Storiths to Beamsley Beacon sections sometime soon.:)

Re: Blubberhouses 25
Not sure yet. Did it for the first time last year and had a great time. No recee and only one mistake. Competed in 3.53 and SportSunday took a fab pic- so good I bought it.
Very tempted to go again
