Timeless classic - Old Peculiar (x3) - it never gets jaded. Going to stock up on some Robinsons Old Tom for Xmas which tastes like Old Peculiar's bigger and stronger brother - not for lightweights!
Never tried Old Tom before. Something about the bottle always puts me off. Might rectify this on my next stock up. Cheers Ady.:)

Also had a pint of some kind of porter on sunday night, again no idea of name as I was sat in the beer garden watching the bikes and building snow sculptures while someone else got the beer. From the Rising Sun in Fulwood, so if anyone goes in there and can tell me what porter they've got on then I'd like to know for the future!

Just finishing a bottle of Jennings Golden Host ale here, not one I've tried before but it's a mighty tasty bit of rehydration after some late night sledging!
Currently enjoying a Timothy Taylors Landlord.
Have some Thwaites Lancaster Bomber and Jennings Cumberland in reserve.
I've never tried Real Ale out of a bottle, does it still taste ok?
Only ever had hand pulled pints.
An absolutely splendid pint of Farmer's Stout (best Stout I've had in years) + several Pale Ale's all courtesy of PlumBum - made for an entertaining snowy bike ride back home (saw a fox en route). There you have it today's training, ale and wildlife encounter all in one!!
