Not for everyone, but im not a fan of carbon frames. The steel ride irons out every bump in the road. A brilliant ride, the wheels are so fast but take a bit of getting used to in the wind.

Im impressed with the chorus carbon groupset, miles smoother than what ive always had ( veloce)

Are they 175mm cranks and is it 11-21 cass? I know what you mean about carbon frames and the ride they give. One of the guys that was out on Thursday had a steel frame that he bought in 1974!! It had been re-sprayed 10 years ago but looked bloody mint!!

yeah 175mm
53 39 std but 12 /24 cassete

one thing with steel is that it can always be repaired and re sprayed.

still cannot get over the fact the tubing in places is 0.3mm thick :)
