On my (gentle toddle of a) run this evening, Ingleborough was hidden under a dark and ominous rain cloud. A freezing cold hail shower blew over my way but soon cleared and its sunshine now. My expert opinion..... sunshine and showers :)

Have fun all:thumbup:
Good Luck everyone
I've only ever done the Fellsman once and sadly my hip problems mean it will probably remain my one and only time. But it's a wonderful event, a really fantastic challenge, which has left an indelible mark on me. I've a few friends running tomorrow. But as well as them, I wish you all the best of luck.
My performance on the 3ps only allowed me to catch the last few competitors coming off Whernside but it was great to see Suzanne giving loads of encouragement to the 3P'ers.
Guessing it was a good running day but there will be a few red faces tomorrow! With any luck one of the Belper boys will be finished by now - Go Saul!
hoping to be out next year.
A close finish after 61 miles!.......http://www.grough.co.uk/magazine/201...ust-one-minute
First ever Fellsman done with Martyn P and Mrs P, managed 18 hrs 31, absolutely knackered but very chuffed:thumbup:
Just got home after a fantastic day out, we were so lucky with the weather. I ran with my friend Jackie and we didn't have one single bad patch, in fact we really enjoyed the whole thing and met some interesting people along the way. We cruised round at a steady pace and thought we were on for around 17hrs 30 but things changed after we were grouped at Cray. One of our party had a bad patch at Park Rash so we tried to help him the best we could. We walked for quite a long time but he came round eventually and managed to run down the track at the end. We ended up doing 18:04 which we're very pleased with. It's very difficult when you set your mind on a particular time in this race as it often doesn't go to plan.
Thank you to all the organisers and helpers. The friendly faces and fantastic food were very welcome at the many checkpoints enroute. Well done to everyone else who completed the Fellsman yesterday.
