Results there aren't the easiest to use, especially if you want to compare between teams, but it's great to see what you did.

Can't believe I climbed up to blake on leg 2 in 17min. Been taking 25 in training! Proper chuffed as that's same as the winners.

Mind borrowdale V40s did it in 13.38!

I can't believe someone nicked your stuff Daz. I have always plonked gear down at fell events. Might be a bit naive but I would never have thought any fell runner would nick another's gear. On the other hand I do believe that RichT would nick my cake, the thieving git.

You lot are quick off the mark! I've only just picked up my email from Martin saying that the results are up & can I have a quick check of them.

This is the final set of results that will be published, and all of the information is there but if you want specific figures or comparisons you may need to dump it into a spreadsheet to analyse. As has been said, first port of call should be the pdf as that gives the full picture by merging in the mini-mass start teams.

Swoop - now you know why you hung back from the mini-mass start - you don't need to piece together the two sets of splits!

Thanks to CFR it was a great day, really enjoyed Leg 2, even the humungous climb into the clag.

Thoroughly enjoyed the event and the mist (I reccied midweek ;)).
I did leg 4. Apologies to any of the leg three navigation runners I may have 'bumped into' when coming face-to-face with on that narrow path traversing Blake Fell. Sorry, I was on a mission!!!
So, given all the pre-race talk, did everyone on leg 4 find the quickest line off Sharp Knott and down the small path through the forest?

I followed the stream gully (just below cp2) down into the wood and found no sign of a path so decided to keep following the stream - i'm still picking various pieces of foliage out of my gruffnuts now!

I enjoyed the leg and just wish i'd had the courage of my convictions between cp1 and 2 as i lost a couple of minutes fannying around when i had the right line all along (more luck than judgement i should add!)

Good day out so thanks to the organisers - M6 home was a nightmare though!

And well done to CVFR good to see the chaps medalling.

Yep, you won't have seen us in the mist, but we went the same way, and saw you clambering up to the main trod as Borrowdale came waltzing along having got the right line at the start of it.

Loved the nav leg, firts time for me and no problems at all finding the CP's and to be honest, the clag made it infinitely more interesting as a nav leg. If we had had visibility, it would have been so much easier... but: NEVER follow the leader on the nav... we did not follow anybody, just followed our bearings and stuck with our route choices and suddenly found a bunch of people that were ahead of us coming towards us on our return from CP 4 :D

We managed to sneak into top 15 teams, so well chuffed, especially with some of our better runners unavailable!
Also, given the disqualifications, does this mean I technically beat the world triathlon champion! Ha!
