Ben Stokes is quite amazing, able to adjust his batting style depending on the circumstances, always for the benefit of the team.
I wonder if he can bowl leg spin...
. . . the lad can turn it square on a dry Bleaklow peat bog Geoff and has a wrong ‘un no-one alive can pick
He can also knock someone over with a single punch whilst pissed and even though it was captured on CCTV got away with it.
He can also afford the type of lawyer required for such a case.
Silverwood vows to pick 'strongest attack' as England contemplate options for West Indies decider.
MUST be Anderson and Broad.
Both are fit.
England used to be such an attacking side.
300 plus on a full day's batting.
369 for England in the first innings.
Decent effort.
Another fascinating match in the making
Anderson and Broad have 2 wickets apiece.
Windies 73 for 5
Looking good, only worry is Mondays weather.
Would be nice to enforce the follow on tomorrow morning.
Windies top score this series is 318.
England are that in front now.
Bearing in mind tomorrow will be a wash out.
What should the target be?
Having somehow been left out of the first Test, Stuart Broad has taken 14 wickets in the series at a ridiculous average of 10.5.
Gunner be windy this afternoon.
Should help the bowling attack.
2 - 1 series win.
Good effort.
If only we had picked the best team for every test???
Not going too well, good job the weather intervened.
Excellent winning test match for Woakes.
84 not out highest by any England player over both innings.
2 wickets in each innings with the ball
1 catch in the field.
A whole page of stagger, but I agree with the last post. Very exciting finish.
I think "taşaklar" sums up my reply! Ask your mate in the bar to translate.XX
Anderson back and good bowling all round.
Couple of slip catch drops but steady performance by England
Looking like a draw after only only 85 overs after 3 days.
36!!
That's the lowest test total for 65 years. And they had a first-innings lead!

Some amusing Sri Lankan batting this morning. This after they won the toss and elected to bat!
I've just listened to the final ten overs of the Australia India series. Yesterday evening, India needed 328 to win on the final day against a bowling attack that had bowled them out for 36 earlier this series. Against the world's best bowler, Pat Cummins. At the Gabba, where Australia haven't lost for ages, and the highest ever successful fourth innings run chase is about 270.
I woke up and turned the radio on to hear they needed something like 50 to win off 50 balls with five wickets in hand. "Will they go for it?" By the time I'd dressed and gone downstairs, they needed 36 off 44 balls, having taken 14 from a single Nathan Lyon over.
They ended up winning by three wickets. What an amazing victory to win the series.
England 112 all out after winning the toss and electing to bat. Eek!
I'm just reading my last message in the this thread. Maybe this Indian team is pretty good. They seem to have a lot of belief and resilience.
Of course England will get loads of flak, but the opposition are allowed to be good too.
Wow, quite a test match this. Amazing fight to get back right back in it and then 2 wickets lost in the first 3 balls. Sibley and Root have the skills and temperament to hang around (I type as another lbw review is underway).
How quickly things move on. It's now looking like it will be quickest test match since the war!!
One silver lining: nice to see Kohli bowled by Leach again.
Just watched the Shane Warne Memorial from the MCG this morning.
Tears of both sadness and laughter rolling down my cheeks.
A fitting tribute to a "good un"
