James Zabiela's new EM, very good :)
Got Escafeld Quartet, www.escafeldquartet.com, appearing live at the Huntsman, Thurlstone (www.thehuntsmanthurlstone.co.uk) tonight. Playing a mixture of Folk, popular and classical music.
Been listening to nothing but Iron Monkey - our problem. Lost this album for a over a year and since finding it i've not really listened to much else. Anyone else on here a fan of sludge, doom, drone etc?
Just about to post the same thing !
Final manuscript for my book is with the publishers - there's a chapter devoted to 80s music icons who have passed on - hope its not too late to add a piece about him. Buffalo Gals & Double Dutch, as well as Madame Butterfly were superb.
Spot on Rob. I always loved listening to Malcolm McClaren and the songs you mention are great  I heard a BowWowWow live session on 6 music recently too, and it sounded amazing
I know he did a few vocals but did he have any musical ability himself or was just a frontman for other with the talent?
Interesting that his son with Vivienne Westwood has gone into the 'family business' by co-founding Agent Provocateur.
