Well in general i am happy because it's Friday and I have got 4 days off :D my coursework will be finished tomorrow, sunday I am doing the half marathon, monday i will be lazy and tuesday is my birthday so its all good!
But heard this morning a friend of my best friend passed away this morning having lost a long battle against cancer :( :( :( kind of puts things in perpective a bit really, she was one of those people who isn't just a good person, but really stands out for being full of aceness and lovliness and kindness and she was only in her 30s.
Suppose I feel quite priviliged now knowing that I can and will be running 13.1 miles on sunday suffering nothing more than achey legs for a couple of days.

I am doing the Nottingham (Robin Hood) half marathon... some of my colleagues were trying to get me to go on the radio beforehand but NO WAY am I letting the general public know how bad a runner I actually am, I have an image to uphold!!!! :o

OH - so sorry to hear about your friends friend:( my sister is over from Norway at the minute for the prime reason for visiting her friend who has terminal cancer - it's just bloomin unfair and horrible.:(
