Re: Todays Training
Nowt friday (as scheduled)
20 miles today. Roads inc' 1800ft ascent/descent.
VERY windy, made for slow lap times which, although you know why, always feels disappointing.
New trainers were superb. Gonna get another pair the same and use for the FLM.
Bike tomorrow.

60 minutes off road through Alkrington woods and Heaton Park (trying to workout the course of the Northern for next week.)
It was an enjoyable run but bloody hell, the damge along the off road trails in the park, that are part of the course is immense.

Re: Todays Training
six miles this morning at 8am around darwen tower and sunnyhurst woods.
two or three miles in the park last night, some of it spent clambering over fallen trees!
Reading this thread puts me to shame! Must find time to do more :(

Re: Todays Training
14 very muddy and windy miles up and down valleys and trails.
Paths hard to spot in some areas due to windswept damage!
Felt great afterwards especially when liverpool beat chelsea!
Rest tomorrow

Box Hill Fell Race - 7.5miles/1700' I think - fantastic weather and a good friendly atmosphere - some of these Southeners appear fairly friendly;)
Congratulations to Tring Running Club winning both men's and ladies team prizes - the Downs were awash with blue and white stripes:)
