I can't drink bit of a double whammy my medication and also fact that i am a recovering alcoholic. Hey-Ho.
Couple of pints of Brian Turner's Amber Ale among other drinks tonight down at the Palace - Leeds' finest Real Ale emporium (IMHO):)
On at the Huntsman at the moment, Farmers Stout from Bradfield Brewery, Between the Posts from Cottage Brewery and Head Shrinker from Abbeydale (Dr. Mortons) Brewery as well as the usual Timothy Taylor Landlord, Black Sheep Best Bitter and Tetley Trad. Waiting to come on is Treacle Stout from Summer Wine Brewery and Puffin Billy from Cottage Brewery.
Two cracking pints in the pub after noonstone yesturday sat with the pennine lot....geoff and marvin etc.....amazing carrot cake as well.
But cant remember what the ale was - which is useful.
I'm not an expert Daz, only been doing it since November 09. Seem to be doing OK with the 6 that are on. Even had compliments on the quality. :)
Not really for me to say how good they are, as I am obviously biased.
Come and try them sometime and let me know what you think.
Nothing all weekend :/
Too skint to buy any.
A Drop of Mallinsons Stadium Ale.

Just got 3 bottles of Robinsons Old Tom for 4 quid from Asda. Not sampled this tipple for several months now so looking forward to it. Will run it off on Pendle tomorrow!
Time to put on a race Andy...
... The Hardy Huntsman
Couldn't resist picking up a couple bottles of Deuchars and a Wychwood Hobgoblin on the way home :)
Horsforth beer festival this weekend Mr B - you've only got from 12 til 6 tomorrow to get in though. Just got back myself, tried ales from a few new breweries i'd not heard of before - Ilkley Brewing Co., Nutbrook brewery, Bob's & the Dicky Ticker Brewery. Didn't try the Old Mottled Cock tho :D
Yeah, our kid went to that last year and when he came back he managed to completely paint the bog in carrot soup and rusty water. It was unreal, it was like he planned it all carefully and executed it with military precision rather than just staggering in and letting it rip, the coverage was 100% even under the seat. It was the old lady who cleaned up too, he was in bed for days.
Rescue Ale at 10.00am this morning:eek: no don't get me wrong this wasn't a little early for drinking but the end of a long night;)
A bottle each to the Nuns team
Just had 4 pints of Jennings Lakeland ale watching the Dingles get beat by Arsenal....how crap is Bentdner lol :p
It was only awful coz it is miles away from Edinburgh.
Wonder where I can get a bottle?

just having my rescue ale, thanks IDP x
Half a gallon of my home brewed Magnet clone every day, except after a race when I like a few more. I like to keep the beer and the running in balance and I've just upped by mileage.
Wold Top Bitter. Lovely light, hoppy, pale beer at a modest 3.7%. Quid a bottle in Booths atm
