Pre British Sea Power gig in The Crescent, Ilkley last night, I sampled:
A pint of Ilkley Brewery Rocket Steam Ale, which was excellent. Followed by a bottle of The Five Points Brewing Co Railway Porter, also excellent.
Then today, after watching the Ilkley Fell Race, another pint of Ilkley Steam Ale & a tremendous Bad Kitty Vanilla Porter from Brass Castle.
I just quaffed a bottle of hobgoblin from Xmas 2013 - it was fine!
Ha ha, I'll let you know!
4 pints of Naylors Velvet in The Griffin, Leeds, last night. A cracking brew!
2 pints of Timothy Taylor Best in The Queens Head this aft. Very nice.
A pint & a half of excellent Thunderbridge Stout from Small World Beers in the Tremendous Fox in Shipley today. What a great place.
Yesterday in Leeds:
A pint of Saltaire Brewery Stout no.5 in Head of Steam. Pretty decent, 7/10.
Half a Highland Brewing Co. Imperial Stout at 8% in Friends Of Ham. 9/10, beautiful.
Then back in Ilkley, in The Crescent, a bottle of 5 Points Brewing Co. Railway Porter. Love this stuff, 9/10.
coincidence?
I had a No5 porter too. But it was from Harrogate Brewery. 7/10. at 10 Devonshire Place in Harrogate.
Cheers!
