Just done the up down and up from Grindslow to Ringing Rodger with Mrs Stagger.
29 minutes total and we estimate we could run the top way in about 24 minutes.
Conclusion is for runners of our limited ability to stick to the top route.
Bloody cold on tops with the wind chill all the grass was covered in an icey layer, but great to be out and not working.
But what would it be after 19 miles.....Quote:

The new checkpoint location appears to be as you go through the gate towards Jacob's ladder, instead of heading to the left after the gate, you head straight on down the track a hundred yds or so to the checkpoint, then head sharp left (or straight across if you fancy) towards the ladder.
Edit - hope that makes sense as I've not done the route before so it's all new to me either way.
