I missed the deadline again - I've run the races over most of the tops of the British Isles - Snowdon, Scafell, Slieve Donard, Snaefell, Carauntoonhill (last year - the best of the lot so far) but I'm still short of the full set, i.e. Ben Nevis (and what's the one on the Isle of Wight that Pennine make a pilgrimage to?)

I'll get back to you on that WH..... I know there is a certain 3 Day Series on IOW.. might be that..... the PFR pilgrimage is to Jura..... stick on your list!!

The one on the Isle of Wight is St Boniface ( 787 feet ), which the first race of the September IoW fell race series climbs.

Got a note back from the secretary, apparently nine have pulled out so far and I am moving slowly up the list. Don't know how you managed to get a place before me if you were 17th reserve, but I'm sure it'll all work itself out in the end.

Maybe I was 7th, memory fuzzy at best of times, and it was quite a while ago!
I've also just missed cut off in previous years so perhaps that made a difference too...

Was there a rumour at some stage that the entries for the 2008 race would start before the 2007 race has even been run or am I just making things up again?!

damm ive got to go on the annual trek to bloody ibiza for AJs much needed sun, cant blame her but 2 weeks before the ben race:(

I heard it was full already. 2009 entries are being taken from 1st August 2007.

Really?!
I'm all for a bit of forward planning but that's too much.....

One of my club mates can't make it and has emailed the organiser to advise so more hope for those on the reserve list.
