I couldn't do the race this year due to injury but I was up round Hart Crag walking and occasionally a bit of jogging (yippppeeeee!) :thumbup:
I was descending from Hart Crag into Deepdale to look at the waterfall below Erne Nest Crag when the clag on St Sunday Crag lifted around 1pm and I could see some runners approaching the checkpoint. Not for the first time this year I was envious of them :cool:

The best AM race in the calendar IMHO.

Not long after the start you run past a field on your left in which I have noticed campers & tents. Is this an official site? If so where is the access to it/site name - might look at sticking the van on there for race day so the little 'un has somewhere to run round..................
