A robin decided to keep me company whilst I filled the car with stuff for the tip. No fear at all - it just hopped out of the way when I was picking things up right next to it.:)

Just seen a Fox out of my window, across the road, heading for the woods. They'll be more wildlife sightings later at throwing out time in the village:rolleyes:
3 Waxwings in the back garden, never seen any before.

My RSPB bird book says that apart from in 'eruption' years when presumably we get many more Waxwings then there's probably only around 100 in the country so t ey're rarer than I thought.Quote:

They've bred well this year at Leighton Moss, Silverdale but as far as I know they're very local to there (large areas of reeds).Quote:
