I think we should ad Onehill to the table... bit hard to guess her target weight mind ;)
Put me down for 11st 2 please Dr P (or your glamorous assistant).
137 :-) back the right way but not very quick!! I'll still be on this years target in 2020 at this rate.
Not looking forward to the weigh-in on Wednesday . I was hoping a trip round the Edale Skyline course would keep me on the straight and narrow but with its cancellation I could be left with a surplus pound or three!.
Just had a sneak preview and its not looking good http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...ebit/shock.gif
Best get out for a run Alf :closed: And give me those pies :D
I am dreading tomorrow, been in Brussels this weekend, far too much food and drink and no running, hoping training session tonight will burn some of it off.
My target was 75kg for the 26Km Wicklow Way Trail race last Saturday I weighted myself using my unofficial scales the morning of the run and I clocked in a 75.9kg. Weight loss definitely helped when I clocked my best ever finish in a mountain run. I broke into the top half of the field for the first time (77th out of 193 finishers)..
But what a day in the mountains. Deep snow, freezing fog. Zero degrees at sea level. Visibility < 20m on high. Two major high speed falls on the decent off Djouce Mountain. All in all great day out
I must have spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday eating because I weighted myself again on my official scales/time and I'm back to 77.8 i.e. no change.
Well you can put me down as still at 64kg for tomorrows weigh in.
So that means that technically I haven't lost weight but I have cause I put on 2kg in a pre-op binge when I was comfort eating. :o But I have managed to lose that 2kg in the 2 weeks post-op despite no exercise allowed
I know the feeling Alf,
I have not been running for a week and a half due to Achillesproblem, but also we have just spent 4 days with the new in laws to be, nicepeople but diet and exercise might as well be on another planet for as much considerationas they give it. The thing is the chap is only a couple of years older than meand is on that many drugs for health problems and most if not all must berelated to his eating and heavy drinking, and yet there no sign of the pennydropping. 4 days 4 take aways/meals out, full breakfasts on two days plus asmany cakes sweets biscuits as you could shake a stick at .
In a nut shell I was too polite on one hand and was tooeasily tempted on the other.
Oh well back running now so will have work at it.

Fat bird weighing in at 137 :-(
82.6 kg - at least it's in the right direction.
70.5 Kg (up 0.5).
Without a serious attitute change to food I will struggle to reduce any further (or even keep it at this level) I was out for a 3:15 run last night covering 26 Km and over 900 meters of climbing in an effort to undo some of the damage of the last few days. Since I started using Strava at the new year I have being averaging 5 runs a week, which is not going down very well on the home front and I can sympathise with her view.
Edit its happening again,
Yet another employee has just filled the kitchen worktop with birthday treats, this office is too big, its happening all the time (2 this week allready and its only wednesday)
164lb no training for 2 weeks sore knee, think I have menicus cartlidge damage again:closed:
67.5kg this morning. It would have been less but I've been eating like a horse since Saturday's Hardmoors 55.
No change for me - around 158lb this morning
60 :d
66 kg
Drastic action needed from now on to reach target of 63 kg
Am banished from kitchen and only allowed to eat what put in front of me (unless my turn to cook of course)
62kg
About half way there :)
static at 145lb although I have gained and then lost 6lb over the last 2 weeks
feeling doubtful I'll ever get below here
i've even got flu and haven't eaten for 3 days - that's real commitment!
65kg so thats the wrong way again... over indulgence in Brussels to blame and the Easter Bunny has dropped off chocolate at the end of my desk. A serious run needed this weekend on top of last nights training session and tomorrows slip sliding around the streets. Must get things under control.
161 lbs :o Oh, the humanity !
Up 1lb to 11.4lb, OK need to work now, but I did a 11 milerun with rucksack before work then 6.5 miles in a club interval training session yesterday and the Achilles is holding up, so now I am back in training hopefully I will get on top of it.

10st 13. it would appear that running to the point of nausea and beyond on the past 2 Sundays is starting to pay off.
67.5 not great! but looking better i think
I don't trust my scales as they seem to fluctuate somewhat but after hopping on and off about five times and taking the average I think my weight is roughly the same as it was before which is quite amazing considering all the chocolate that I ate.
Looking better is where its at!! Its not really anything to do with getting out in the wilds or racing over mountain and moor or going 'long' solo for hours on end!! However I'm losing out on both points just now!!
I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning before my cup of tea and porridge...if I remember!! I do need to focus!! :o
