Not got around to booking it yet, but I'll be staying there.

No idea how busy it will be with other people at that time of year, reckon we'll have enough of us to book a room rather than wake up every single dorm when we stagger back from the Loft?

We were thinking of getting a short break in a cottage somewhere. Problem is, there aren't many within easy staggering distance of Keswick :cool:

I wonder of we could book a whole room/the whole backpackers for the lot of us?

That would depend how many are left to still find accomodation Han I guess :confused: Looks like a few of us are now sorted but there should still be enough to warrant a whole room but rather you than me sharing with that lot - you're a braver woman than me!! :eek::D

Well, I say book it...

No payment is taken at this place in advance: turn up on the day and pay.

Breakfasts are only run if there's 12+ wanting it.

If anyone else therefore wants to stop here, or has already got their name down to stop, do you want to e-mail me your (proper) name, and whether you want some scran in the morning?

I'll then e-mail the hostel, and see if we can get grouped together, and count towards the 12 for brekkie (and maybe get a discount rate?).

Steady/social/recce pace will be full steam for me...ha ha.....maybe I can get my ass in gear before then!!! :o

Dancing.....always got plenty left over for that! Can't beat a good freak out on the dancefloor every now and then! ;)

I may also be an 'all inner' - my forward planning system though is not at all reliable and tends to work on timescales up to and including a maximum period of the day after tomorrow. And even then it rarely goes to plan :rolleyes:.

Right, for now, hostel booked but may change to different accomodation nearer the time. Cottage owners don't want to book short breaks that far in advance in case they can get the whole week filled, especially not if the required short break bridges two letting periods... :(
