What's the score with the 'standard route' - is there a non-standard route?
(sure the info's somewhere above but can't really sit reading whole thread here at work, sorry)
Thats the one we went round.
The non-standard is the Teenager with altitude, an extension that starts with Causey Pike then Outside, Grassmoor, Whiteless and Newlands Hause to join the Waltz at Robinson.
It won't be taking place this year due to not getting permission from the NT.
There will be NO late entries for the Waltz this year.... we will leave for the race after the post on the 8th April and take online entries for the rest of the day.

Less than 2 weeks now - really looking forward to it.
Hope the wind is a bit weaker than last year.
How's the entries coming along - full up yet?
I'd love to do this one, nice warm up for the calderdale hike.
I've got my son so may have to enter him for the junior race and come and watch:(
Anyone got any good route tips for this one?
Also, what's the best way off Catbells to the finish??
ta!
Hi
From Dalehead, don't take the walkers path, instead follow the Honister path for couple of hundred yards and then swing left in a gradual arc to rejoin the main path at Dalehead Tarn. This is much easier running. There's a map showing the probable best line in an earlier thread if you can find it.
From Catbells there's an obvious path slanting down to the road from just beyond the summit.
It's a fantastic race. See you there.
Alison Eagle is our 4th choccy cake entry

Im doing this one:)But.......having ruptered ligaments in my shoulder 10 days ago(its pretty painful) im going for the slow and steady pace.Having had to pull out of the skyline last week i will just be happy to get round.Looking forward to a great weekend.
Cracking effort from Mrs BGSec - a prize before she's started - and one of Wynn's finest.
Hope she lets me take it up to Dalehead Tarn where I plan to watch with one of the kids.
There might be a slice for a few lucky runners. Soon get you up to the next check, over Maiden Moor and on to the finish. :D:eek:
Hell's Bells, that is something to really look forward too, a checkpoint manned by Al and Pudgy. ;)http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/images/smilies/wink.gif
