Good to catch up with you (not literally!!!) at Blakey and Gis Moors!
Have a great OCT marra! Nice to see you'll be back in the vest too ;)
Talking of vests...does anyone have a Medium Lime Green available for sale/gift or rental! :)

With that incentive we will hang back a bit and let you have it!!!!!!
Geo, if we lose we get free beer, let me navigate my secret path off Scafell again and that is bound to happen :)
Great to catch up with you too, all the lads were asking "whos that". If you are kicking aboot at Anni Waltz you can borrow a sweaty lime green vest, best not, get SMLFs one.
Unfortunately I'll not be enjoying Anni Waltz this year...I'm saving my four decade year auld legs for the Great Peaks of Yorkshire! I'm sure SMLFs vest will be just as pheromonic! :p :w00t:Quote:

Bearded man indeed it was , I was with him from Grasmoor a nice chap actually, we were in a company of 4, and no matter what line i took, the others seemed to get ahead of me each time, so i thought, we are the same pace, i will hang on at back.
Big mistake running with head down in clag after High Spy we took an alternate route ( wrong one). I then thought "oh its this way" no one followed then i was all alone in clag thinking this is not right. map and compass out of bumbag and back on track some 35 mins later. still happy DJ although cold and in need of cuppa and food.
Motto............do your own thing do not follow others ( i know this already) especially if they have a beard, ask George!!!
AM I right in thinking RPB got lost again ?? better watch out he doesn't follow you and Mrs C at the OCT or better still don't you follow him, especially if he's with George who has a sense of direction which leaves a bit to be desired, to say the least. :w00t:
Do your usual pal, just cock a deaf un, like me. :))
Rumour has it that a red virgin may be in the Coniston area on Saturday :w00t:
Crikey, that was a shock at the Coniston Fell Race today. A load of Sunderland Strollers with Mr Nee Bother in a red Fell Pony vest!!!
Well thank you kind sir :D Actually entered as a Pony but guy behind me in queue said 'you're a Durham Fell Runner' so had to change to DFR, still wore the vest tho, (and me hat!!) however, think I was only Pony there .
Brilliant race, well organised, great weather, 'blistering' route off Old Man!!!
Even won an auld gadgy prize
Look out for 2 founder Fell Ponies here.....i like the bass player, he makes me want to wee....
