This feeling of disappointment is so much more familiar. Last years emotions of elation just didn't feel right. Being shit is the new being good. ;)

The Missus keeps on asking me if I am OK and I keep on telling her that I am but she doesn't seem to believe me.
Honestly I am. Five relegations really add Steel to your bones.
The financial aspects of our rise and the sudden ability to take the piss out of Liverpool and United supporters I have taken to like a Duck to Water or a Pop Star to Cocaine: - but I still struggle with the ultimate success and glory that this and future City sides and managers will bring us.
for any city fan, surely it is more galling than dissapointing to see such a performance! It was as if they weren't even arsed about the game, no passion or heart what so ever, a sorry display in stark cotrast to the winners. Maybe the blame could be partly laid at Mancini's door, looks as if he can't do anything to lift his players when they need it. Looks a certainty that he'll be shown the door
Rev - If there's a team we were goingto lose a final to, I'm probably happiest to lose to Wigan. This was probably going to be their only FA cup final in history. I like their manager’s attitude and I like the way they play football. On the day they deserved it.
After our poor performances since we beat United and Chelsea, it’s not that surprising; although I hoped we might find our mojo again.
No tempo to our game. Mancini seems to have lost his passion.
Our fans behaved very well, staying to applaud them getting the trophy.
We will be back, stronger in the future!
You've got me in tears at the moment Danbert.. I feel so sorry for plucky little City...
There are plenty of teams... probably 90% of the league who have been through worse times than falling 2 tears in the league system..
And TBH I'd probably class last season as more devastating than finishing in the lower reaches of the top league.. I wasn't around when we got relagated but I'd expect last season would have eclipsed it,.. but you keep it in persepective.. thats football..
The way you charp on you'd think only city had ever had such bad luck... and lets face it that bad luck only ended with the addition of money.. first highly dodgy money... then possibly less dodgy but still highly questionable sponsorship deals..
Aye you'll come back.. Liverpool will.. all teams will eventually.. its why your tick tock is such nonsense and United have proved time and time again after being written off that we will come back.. football goes in Cycles.. Leeds will eventually get back.. the teams from big cities with big fan bases always came back.. almost..

Iain it wasn't such a bad thing yesterday. Some of our 'newer' supporters had become Manchester United like in their expectations. They needed to understand that following City has never been and never will be plain sailing.Well they saw it with their own eyes yesterday.
Because of Manchester United supporting Manchester City is unlike holding your arms up for anybody else, it's more than that and it always will be. :)
Hold on shock horror.. winning teams gets extra supporters.. its like Scouse fans in Surry complaining about glory supporters.. how much did Hulls attendance increase once they gor promoted....
You really do spout some nonsense at times...
United have had good and bad.. lets face it our bad was 2/3rds of the team dead... and we've had relegation.. not plain sailing.. is losing a cup final.. you've lost touch with reality Danbo...
And now Mancini has paid the price... 12 months after the first league title he's sacked.. shocking.. what a classless club..
http://i44.tinypic.com/35hmj9u.jpgLove the man myself, he stood up to Bacon-face and brought us 2 great trophies, shame he couldn't have brought a 3rd yesterday though. He helped put MCFC back on the footballing map and will be sadly missed but never forgotten. He has a place in our history and he deserves it.
