Less than a year old... is it under warranty? It might be worth trying the shop where you bought it first if they do repairs. Alternatively, you might be able to find/persuade a technician at the uni to do it. If not, then I could take a look for you.

It was a 'cash job' from a technician guy who lives near me. We had him doing all our computer stuff for years.

Not been born again recently to my knowledge, frankly, i'm confused:confused:

I am getting married 3 weeks before my 30th birthday, talk about taking everything on at once!! :eek::D
