Re: Tonight's football thread
1) Mancini gone, it's official.
2) Saw Man U parade on news, don't know about official figures, but crowds on route as bus was moving weren't exactly huge looking!! I expected to see more, I haven't seen the end reception but the route was no more than 4-5 deep in places.

A tad more than 4-5 deep..
City have shown what a classless club they are..
But all winners of last seasons major trophies and top 2 leagues have now been sacked within 12 months of their success..

£28 million - it is worse than the fat-cat banking scandal.:closed:
Re: Tonight's football thread
Ah well, at least Roberto brought a bit of style to the job. The football scarf as a fashion accessory is back  I will miss his presence in the Premier League.

I suppose it is just jealousy, the Arsenal Open Top parade bus hasn't been used for a long time........

Put it this way, we couldn't get within 30m of the bus and Albert Square was a complete shut out. Will put some photos up in a bit but it was as big as '99
Re: Tonight's football thread
I'm officially "off" football now
I've been a Man. City season ticket holder since 1990, but I'm not renewing
it's been building up over a few years, and lots of reasons that I can't be @rsed detailing
but mainly the way the game is "over-hyped" nowadays
culminating in considering a season finishing 2nd in the Prem and reaching the FA Cup Final as a failure

Don't doubt that part but look at the coverage earlier on, it didn't look that busy. I am presuming and did presume that alot of people were in the city centre, it just surprised me that less were further out.
