OSAR - Something to do with the Olympics?
Olympic Sized Amex Returns?
Olymipc Season (errrr......) Apparel Ronhill
I have entered a Fell Ponies Team for the Pennine Bridleway Relay
the 10 "First Dibs-ers" are:
Amex, MrsA, stevefoster, MrsC, Tussockface, Turbo Tom, The Master, Daz + 2 guest Ponies (Daz's friend clairster & clairster's friend MarkD)
we don't need to set everything in stone now, so this may change
but LET ME KNOW if you change your mind about definitely doing it...
I have 3 or 4 "spare" Stockporters who've expressed an interest, but if a few more Ponies also want to put their names down for the Reserve List, that would be OK
I'm going to get everybody's emails together and do most of the future organisation that way...
re Pennine Bridleway Relay - we've got ages to sort out the pairings for the legs, but I hereby invoke "Organiser's Perogative" to bagsy Leg 2 for myself :p
Seeing as leg 2 and 5 are gone can me and Mrs.C do leg 1? Thank you please.
clairster has dropped to reserve, allowing her other friend (already known to the FRA forum as drunken euphoria) to take her place
Tussockface - are you happy to do Leg 2 with me?
probably makes sense to pair Turbo Tom with The Master, then they would have choice of Leg 3 or 4, with MarkD/euph taking the remaining leg...
Daz, I'd be delighted to do leg 2 with you - it seems like ages since we ran together at Bradwell - BUT.... I've discovered that I've nearly double booked myself, in that I'm running Rombalds Stride on the Saturday. I know that technically means I'm still free on the Sunday, but after 23 miles the day before, I'd struggle. I wouldn't want to let the Ponies down at the last minute, so it might be better for me to drop out now.
Tussockface - You could go on the short (5.5M) Leg 4 with Tom?
or if you're worried about maybe being injured after Rombald's, you could bow out gracefully, but I could put you down as an emergency reserve (if you come through Rombald's unscathed and we needed you)?
Shorter means faster!
And I'm permanently worried about injury these days!
Put me down as an emergency reserve, nothing to lose by that.
It is rumoured Rice Pudding Boy is set to make a comeback at Pendle next Saturday.....a slow comeback but one just the same!!:w00t:
Will the usual renegades be there I wonder!
As a recoverd lame pony poking his snout in the stable again I must say the horseplay is def caty....... But saying that I wore my vest on an event earlier this
Year and was asked if I'm still a member of "the fat bloke brigade" !!!
Have all the ponies been over grazing in my time away ? Should I stop dropping weight to fill my vest ???
