Legs just did not work what so ever.
I have never run so poorly - ever.
I went up the first climb really well, i wasnt far behind simon booth!!!
My legs had just blown up within the first mile, i couldnt even run tiny inclines which everyone else was. I made it to weatherlam in not a too bad time really but I had to battle to keep moving to get to the top!
I considered jacking it in here but I forced myself to battle on, to try not to think about the race and just treat it as a mental-toughening experience.
Anniversary Waltz has to have had something to do with it, although ive woken up this morning full of a cold so I dont know if that was part of it. What ever the reason I had a shocker, I was looking forward to really pushing myself but I just had nothing to give.
Ive scrapped pendle cloughs next weekend, im going to rest and recover, train hard and learn from it.
