I see there is a route choice up to Glyder Fawr, either up Gribin ridge or Cwm Tryfan then Miners track, i'm thinking Gribin is more direct but not sure.

I noticed the route choice too, this is a new option that wasn't available last year. Not to sure why, possibly a safer option in poor weather or for less confident runners not sure. I'm also assuming that the more direct Gribyn route will be the quicker.
Far quicker... very strange option that one.. going up Cwm Tryfan is long, plus you have a mountain in the way.. plus much harder navigating in bad weather.. very very strange option..
I imagine the new option might be there because it's a less daunting route than the scramble up Y Gribin (or at least appears that way) - can't really think of any other reason, as it's definitely significantly slower than the direct route.
My place is available if anyone is looking to do this.
PM me if you're interested.
The class A route map shows 'fixed' route over Foel Grach. I have queried that and had it confirmed that the map is wrong, we do not have to go over Foel Grach as per usual. Yiannis
I can't get to Capel Curig for the Friday night registration. Does anyone know what happens re: registering on Saturday morning!? If I have to be at Llanberis for 7.30 to catch the bus, I assume it must be open very early if its at Capel Curig!!? Also, where do I register for the bus or do you just pay as you get on?
Cheers
On Sat morning get to Llanberis in good time for the bus (outside the hotel), get on the bus at 7:30 (class A) with all your running kit and £3. Registration is at the starting field at Aber. There is plenty of time for that. Yiannis
Thanks Yiannis! :)
Iain - see you at the bus-stop! :D
