traditional during taper madness to obsess over the weather forecast so here are my latest findings:
Friday
Mainly dry with scattered cloud and some prolonged sunny spells. Showers likely to develop through the day. Light to moderate northeasterly winds. Freezing levels staying above the summits.
Saturday
Dry and bright start, but turning cloudier with rain moving into the east during the evening. Light to moderate northerly winds, strengthening later in the day.
could be worse
Best of luck Daz. And there's nothing like the pre BG tummy collywobbles :)
All the best Daz.
Positive mental attitude.
You have all the tools to do the job, just a bit of application needed for 23 and a half hours.
You will complete on time.
Good luck Daz!! Sounds like you've trained well. Hopefully I'll be up Honister to see you through. Is there anything I can do/bring if I get over to the bottom of Gable or Kirkfell to see you through there? Relax and enjoy!!
Best wishes for a successful round, Daz.

Have fun,
Auld Ken
Looking forward to it mate... I'll be at Wasdale in good time in the company of Mr Foster. Any last minute provisions needed?
You'll be fine Daz - you've done all the hard work.
Looking forward to a weekend long cake fest
Very best of luck Daz and sorry I can't help out. I'm doing the OCT's as you know but I'll be checking the forum for updates as soon as I've finished.
Think of it as a long day out on the hills with all your mates and try and enjoy.
