Maybe a good spot to take pics? ;)

Yes, but take a first aid kit too!
Luckily it is quite grassy there.
What a great little race! I managed to avoid Lecky's hole. Very little rain - the forecast was wrong the second day in a row. Thanks to the RO and all the marshals. The only downside is the parking - that road is so narrow.
Really enjoyed today apart from last half mile when I felt like crud. Such a fun short race and the Cornish pasty was brilliant! Thanks to Black Combe Runners and all the helpers for today.
Didn't find it today, but i looked back up at the side of the pike and it's there and it's definitely on- you just wouldn't want to slip.
Tempestuous weather conditions seem to be the order of the day every time i run this one, bob on to the marshals for going up. Reading the notices in the hall i was surprised at how many volunteers it takes to put this race on, thankyou to all of you. The descents on this one are so much fun if you're committed enough, i wouldn't race this in anything but a Mudclaw. Nice pint of Dent Brewery Golden Fleece in the Blacksmith's Arms afterwards where i left my bumbag by mistake, thanks to the Lancastrians who took care of it for me until i realised after the presentation.
Noel, first MV40...look at him go!
Bah, if I'd known there was Cornish pasty available, I would have been there!
Anyone know who won? I had to dash off with the family. Think I saw Jebb and Addison at the start so guess it was between those two?
