Just invested in the Prodigy's latest album, it's not a patch on jilted but i think it's quite good.
It maybe a little too loud and in your face for some of you old boys though.
At the same time i bought Elbows album the seldom seen kid.
Should have been a hit (rubbish quality!)

Heard Richard Hawley's lovely new single on R2 yesterday afternoon (Tonight the streets belong to us) and ordered his Lady's Bridge album from amazon. Review to follow :)
New single? You mean this song? Wasn't this released last year?

'Omen' is so far the best.;)
Frank Sinatra's In the wee small hours of the morning, Jonathon Richmond's Modern Lovers 88, bit of classic Tamla Motown and Scott Walker's 1st solo album driving to and from office today

tonight I've been listening to Elis Regina
Amazon delivered Fleet Foxes album today. I like it and suspect it's a grower but guess I've gotten mixed up with Friendly Fires, who were on Joolsy toward end of last series. Either than or new Kings of Leon. I used to be so into music and now I'm getting old :o Not as bad mind as when I went into Bradford expecting to hear the Scissor Sisters and it turned out to be Franz Ferndinand
The 'tallica at the mo', constant since I saw them last week. :p
Oh, and a touch of Black Stone Cherry and MC Solaar to break it up a bit. You know how it is!
Went to see the Killers last night:confused:
Twas okay i suppose
Killers first album was great, then they started to sound like meatloaf and my ears switched off:p
I use to love the "Human" song by The Killers, the lyrics have been heated debates on another chat forum i use, now i hate the song, the words get stuck in my head.
I did my best to notice
When the call came down the line
Up to the platform of surrender
I was brought but I was kind
And sometimes I get nervous
When I see an open door
Close your eyes, clear your heart
Cut the cord
Best album - Experience (Prodigy)
Charly/Out of Space/Fire/Ruff in the Jungle
The Prodigy Invaders must die is a pretty cool album too:p
I thought Human was the best thing The Killers had done, but then I got the CD and thought Spaceman was even better. Lyrics are absolute nonsense!
I love Human by the Killers and the Prodigy track with the Chase the Devil sample
Fleet Foxes album is great too; it's really grown on me after a couple of plays ;)
