11k, 250m ascent. All off road. All in the rain. Nice sausage roll frmo cafe at the end though... :)
Ran round edale skyline yesterday morning in the snowy blizzard. Visibility was poor. My navigation was not bad except for running straight past the brown knowl trig and not even seeing it!!!:o (visibility at the time was only about 20/30 yards) however hit the fence line dropping into the junction above jacobs ladder spot on!??? Weird piece of navigation that on my part.
Did the down up from grindslow. didn't find it too bad. the question is, is it quicker than going round??
13.5 miles around Winter Hill and up towards Standing Stones. A nice loop with a bit of everthing in and 1,700ft of climbing. A bit blowy over the tops but dry.
8 x 400ft hill reps yesterday on coastal path from Branscome with Stef. 9.5ml /1400ft today Seaton to Branscombe and back with Stef and her son Sam

Did 5-6 miles both Fri and Sat (Skiddaw and Grizedale Pike) with a combined ascent of around 5000ft....would have been more if I could have left the hubby behind! :w00t:

That's cross-training:)
6ish muddy miles in and around Calverley woods - good to get the Roclites muddy again.
12-mile recovery jog along the Thames towpath
yeah it's pretty brutal, allthough intensity is obviously a little bit lower that the 45-min class
but it was like a sauna in there on Saturday a.m., cos the AC is knackered and neighbours have complained about the music so they can't open the windows

38 miles for last weeks total :)
Went out for a local evening race, about 2km in had a moment involving lost car keys....
walked back to the start, jogged down the final hill and did 2 sets of 8 Tabata intervals up it with a 3 minute jog back down inbetween.... Ouch! Never managed a second set before, so at least that's one plus point!
Quick 30min headtorcher round Eccup Reservoir (4m) with a mate, very boggy and misty but good to stretch the legs after a week being ill and unable to run.
45-min spin class with 3 quickish miles' running either side last night

24k on bike
2k on rower
8m club run, circa 58mins. Some very hilly sections all run at max pace so a good solid session
Having a trot up Simons Seat late morning today. Say "hi" if anbody's about !
Just over 7 miles up Chew Res track & on to Black Chew Head, down to Laddow & Back. 1230 feet up and down in 1:23.
Lovely 11 mile scamper up to Simons Seat & back down the beautiful Valley of Desolation. Somehow managed to get lost on the way up !! Took the wrong path (schoolboy error, I know). But had fun jumping through the heather & dead bracken & stumbled upon a lovely stretch of stream, so it was all good. Saw sod all at the top, very claggy. However, a nice morning out.
Still not running
so did bit in gym
20 k on bike
45 min fit ball class
27 km, 600m climbing today. Ran from the Fox House pub over Carl Wark, Higgar Tor, Stanage Edge with a drop down from the top to the toilets for water, down Friars Ridge and then to the calendar box and home via rivelin rocks. Tough first half, particularly with the nasty weather, then a speedy run in along rivelin valley.
3 mile recovery after last nights efforts. All good in the hood :)
