Chamber, seriously. Take a map, but I doubt very much that you'll need it ! Get entered before it's too late.....................

So the aim is to get round faster but what would be a realistic amount to be expecting to shaving off for a 45 yr old middle/rear pack runner 15/20mins?

oddly thats almost identical to me 4:25 in 2009 - then ankle injury stopped me last year. 4 hours is the real goal - but thats a "big ask" as they say!

Saturday coming we are meeting at layby on left just above Hill Inn at 8:45am and then taking a car or two to Horton to start running from there and doing Penyghent and whernside to the Hill Inn which is basically covering the two sections that are covered by the time out.
the following saturday we will be leaving a car at Horton and running from Ribblehead to Horton doing whernside and Ingleborough and then the following Saturday (29th Jan) will be doing all 3 starting from Horton.
so far
definite 2 for the 15th
3 for the 22nd
3 for the 29th
anyone welcome will be steady 5-6 hour pace
I'll be ok for 29th too bud:)

I managed to creep under the 4.00 hour mark last year, having run with AS for a while, just get to Inglebugger with running in your legs. too many get here too fast and have to walk off with cramp

That was me last time I did it :(
I had to lie down and be fed with jelly babies by small children before I could get going again.
