Had a smashing day today and managed to haul myself round in a reasonable time, despite my earlier misgivings about the amount of 'up'!
Great atmosphere in the village, and the weather really helped to show off the scenery too.

Sorry I missed this Trig. Decided at the last minute to go on a silly walk up and down four Munros.
We'll forgive you fungus; 113 made it which was 20 up on last year I think we had 30 from CVFR alone (the results hide a few CVFR DNF) I was panicing on Friday as the rain fell and more and more people were texting/emailing/calling to ask if it was still on as the flood alerts, ITN/Sky news crews, and Prince Charles all gathered ready for another deluge. In desperation I called Rev Howard Pask (mainly to lend a few tables) I think this did the trick as the weather yesterday was nothing short of miraculous - too hot dare I say? A few us went home with vest shape white bits :wink:
