I made my comeback yesterday.. left wing back for an Italian team in Turin.. 3 dives.. 3 free kicks won.. even the italians were making dive gestures to the ref by my last one.. when in Rome.... we ended up losing 1-0 though... good laugh..

Wow! cracking goal by van Persie to give Arsenal the lead
Well played swansea city, saw ist half and what a game. Gutted to lose, now 5pts behind Chelsea, ouch. Need some inspiration from somewhere, come on Henry, you're time is now. Little matter of Man U next week I think?? Maybe our traditional April fold is starting early and we'll be good at the end of the season.
Not a happy little gooner right now.....
Swansea 3 - Arsenal 2
Good game for the neutral viewer :D
First time Swansea have conceded more than one goal at home in the league this season!
Are City crumbling like sunbaked dogshit or will we win at Wigan tonight?
Wigan are about the most inconsistent team in the league.. they can beat anyone on their day.. but get murdered by anyone.. depends which Wigan turn up.. can be a tricky fixture.. but they can just role over.. they've beaten the top teams a number of times in recent years but also suffered a fair few hidings.. next weekend will be interesting...
Another excellent match  Wigan never stopped pressing all the game. I don't think they would be bottom of the Premier League if they showed that commitment every week.
True Alf - They made us grind out that result and until everyone is back and fit that is what we may have to continue to do, then hopefully motor on. A draw or win against Spurs and a United defeat and we could be 4-6 points clear at the top. A win would end the Spurs challenge too. We could actually lose and still be 2 points clear of Spurs and 2 or 3 clear of United if they draw or lose.
It has been a tough month so far but we are still THREE points clear at the top.
Nasri breaks the deadlock and we should have a proper game now
Lescott  gets the second City goal.
Defoe gets Spurs back in it normal game on resumed!
Bale equalizes the game....Balotelli about to come on...anything can happen now!
Penalty to City :w00t:
Stamper Balotelli must have won it for City !
City 3 Spurs 2 !
A game of two halves
It's been a while since City vs Spurs has been a bigger game that Man U vs Arsenal.
I would love to laugh at spurs losing to a last minute penalty but, with man u in 15mins, we could get thunped and look even worse.
Come on gunners, you can't lose 3 matches in a row, that's your april form, not january.....
He did and I agree Balotelli definitely did try to stamp on Scott Parker. That said, he didn't actually catch him. So for me, the retrospective red is hanging in the balance. Will he get a 3 game ban? I have to say, probably yes he will. He's a total fruit-cake. There was absolutely no need to risk that.
Anyway - it's come on Arsenal now.;)
Listening to the match on the radio. We're playing United and there is no atmosphere at all. Walcott is playing like we should sell him to Aston Villa. The rags have just scored from a header. Oh dear.
RVP what a goal!!!!!!! Now hold on, please?????
Definitely more exciting now :D
Oh dear, but stunning Man U goal, high quality!!
Good game last night..
Very harsh penalty call..
But Mancini's decision to go 3-5-2 was strange.. Fair play to Liverpool though, best I've seen them for a while, bellamy's a real handful.
Mancini's team selection was wrong -I'm struggling to come up with one single, credible reason for the omission of Aguero, Clichy and Milner from the starting 11 last night.
The more I think about it, there can only be one: he just wasn't interested in the trophy. He certainly handed it to them over the two legs.
I think he was interested, but like Fergie he risks it and tries to get through with the weakest team possible.. leaving out as many of the first teamers as possible. It back fires a few times. If you finish the season with the title then the risk is worth it..
yeah.. I think he should have gone for it.. the league cup is scoffed at but United have won it in a few times and its been important in keeping that winning mentality... I see why he did it though. Aguero has a lot of pressure on him now with Ballotelli out and Dzeko not scoring regularly.
Grayson sacked.

Disgraceful in my opinion. There is only one man responsible for our current situation and that's Ken Bates.
What manager worth his salt would want to work for Bates? Best players to be sold (or given away for free because they've not been given a new contract) and replaced with emergency loan signings.
I suppose Strachan would be a popular choice among the fans but his record is mixed. Warnock and Davies would be less popular but would at least have the merit of proven track records of getting the best out of mediocre players. Under the circumstances that would be just as well.
Warnock would buy Paddy Kenny, get you promoted and then get fired...that's what normally happens. I hope Leeds don't get Warnock as I'd much rather they were in the Chumpionship.
