 Oooo I like that you can sleep off chips! I never knew!
Tip: if you are given free cakes/chocolate (or chips I guess), then they are calorie free. So if someone at works brings in cakes for a birthday etc, they are safe. It's only when you actively go looking for the cakes/chocolate (or Jaffas DT :closed:) that the calories become activated :)
I am so dreading next year's "overweight to something-resembling-not-too-lardy"

Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
I thought Jaffa Cakes weren't cakes and therefore fat free?
I forgot to weigh myself again this morning :o

The way things are going (with all this backsliding going on  ) this thread will still be going by the time onehill junior arrives. Just think you could register the largest weight loss in a single day
-
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Haha! I probably can Alf... though I suspect there will still be a long way to go to beat my 2013 starting weight

Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Can I be excused still not losing weight - I have in fact lost half a stone but that's only because I put on half a stone before my op - does that count??
Anyhow, one month post op and I still can't exercise and due to some on going 'issues' I may not be able to do more than walk for a bit longer yet. So maintaining my current weight is good enough for me right now

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
Better fortnight for me after my few non descriptive weeks. Morning morning a.m. 78.1kg. The 30km LSR on Saturday probably had a lot to do with that (2500 calories burned )
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
A loss of 1kg for me - down to 63kg (well 62.57 is the precise conversion I think).
Though I'm cheating really as the weight loss is due to ill health not dedication to the cause. Swear I'm losing muscle more than anything at the moment
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
11.03lbs today, I am happy with that as I was down in Londonat the weekend watching some friends run in the marathon, this lead to a enviable compromise of diet when stopping in hotels and eating out. Another plus is I am now back running after 5 weeks of problems with the Achilles :D.

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
71 Kg this morning which I am actually happy about. I have been an eating machine since assisting on 3 legs of a Bob Graham on Saturday. I am still pretty sore, the club run is going to hurt tomorrow night.
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
64 so .05kg down, so a little bit, not much, started proper diet this week, no snacking at all, so lets see how we do next weigh in.
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
I got a bit fed up because I put weight on last week and I've been feeling fat but I've been really good this week and I'm back down to what I was last weigh-in. I'm trying really hard to cut out biscuits and cut back on sugar during the week and I'm mega busy at the moment which usually means I lose weight. Got the Three Peaks and a really big May (running wise) so I'm hoping that will kick start my proper weight loss and I'll be bikini-ready for the really hot summer we'll be getting, ha ha ha:rolleyes:
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
Hes - good luck with the Three Peaks, I was offered a club member's place until he realised that I am so slow I wouldnt get to the fiirst check point in time

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
66kg - a day late as I forgot yesterday. Only 1kg to go...

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
158 lbs for the old Alfer. Must have been the TWA that got rid of the odd pound.

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
I have been unable to run for two weeks the dreaded planter facisitis (I know that is spelt incorrectly) is keeping me off the hills, so glad to report no weight gain stuck at 65 but at least it has not gone up, have been good, apart from a piece of coffee and walnut cake at the Cake Race on Saturday!! Limited to one piece of cake as not running just supporting. Oh please let the foot be better soon there is only so many spinning classes a girl can take.
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
Had a full trail marathon over the weekend so had 5' 10" exercise over the weekend :D. So weighted in Monday morning at 77.7kg. So broke the 78kg barrier for the first time in a long time... Oh happy days...
-
Re: Overweight to Race-weight
Forgot to weigh myself, but last tie I did I had gained again... as I am not racing now, because I need another operation and am not 100%, I expect to not reach race weight this season and have given up... Leave me on the table though, as I may get inspired, and hopefully heal, in time for the second half of the season :)

Re: Overweight to Race-weight
my weights so up and down its not worth recording just now!! I was 12st 3lb one day now I'm 12st 4lb and bits, works scales say 12st 7lb so I've stopped believing those as I think they've been fiddled with. Theres no real steady loss or gain. Holding steady I guess! :)
