Your link doesn't appear to work Ian.
Some snow on Fairfield too - picture from Striding Edge's facebook page... http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/...type=1&theater
Snowing in west Leeds:)
Black Hill has a good dusting.
Blizzards between Buxton and Ashbourne on the way back from the Pud. Didn't seem to be settling at that time.
Some very wet snow in Ambleside - it is melting as soon as it touches the ground, but will accumulate higher I imagine.
My folks have just driven back from sheffield to stockport and told me that there's plenty of snow falling near rushup edge and it was starting to settle.
Tough driving back from Gravy Pud over Holme Moss, couple of inch settled on road.
1st gear down other side with twitchy bum and no braking:w00t:
good dusting down to 700m on snowdon on friday
We saw a bit of snow at Eskdale Eureka today but I don't think it will have pitched. It looked a bit too wet.
Snow's settled in Settle, I've drunk half a bottle of red and decided to go for an impromptu headtorcher. Is very strange out, and there are a line of tipsy trainer prints circling the town now.
sleet on the M56 in Cheshire about midnight
Snow flurries in Kendal last night and this morning, though not much really settling... snow down to maybe 500-600m on the Kentmere and Fairfield fells yesterday, so no doubt more today.
patchy snow here, gritters went passed twice last night and have been passed 3 times this morning already are they expecting more!!!!!
About an inch of wet snow here in Settle :)

We have a dusting this morning but we are on a hill so its fairly localised. The cat is watching hailstones bounce off the window at the moment :D
Sorry my previous picture was a bit crap. Here's a couple more just taken from a wander round watery lane with the pooch.

Now off to work. Good job I have a 4x4 :) ;)
reasonable amount on the top of Chinley Churn this morning
Top half of Wansfell is white but it does not look deep - if it turns to ice it could make it tricky.
Cars struggling outside my house. Was going to go across the tops to Halifax to pick up M62 for a brief visit to one of my offices before heading to HO. Think I'll go straight there instead.
Not seen the weather, don't know how bad it is or will get, but got my rucksack packed with snow gear, just in case!
A couple of pics from this morning
Up the A59 between Skipton and Harrogate - lots of snow coming down but it's wet stuff and not really settling, on the roads at least!
It'll probably settle on the hills though - might treat meself to a little run tonight!
Its snowing in Masham!
To be fair, its a flurry and unlikely to pitch but its still technically snow.:D
Some with us this morning. A few cars stuggling to get up the road outside our house. Although this is a bit higher than us, here's a taster of what our neck of the woods is like:

I think it will be a safe bet to say that if you DONT want snow, Preston will be the best place to come to as per usual.
Although on my way to work this morning whilst sat waiting the train to come at the level crossing, a torrential shower of hail put down a good layer and required a 2nd gear start. Enjoyed a good bit of intential understeer on the country lanes just to entertain myself.
Think I might have to avoid the "rural route" to work if it does snow though.
Just a smattering on Yewbarrow & Red Pike on Sunday, but lots of hail in Coniston today and the Webcam on Raise shows quite a bit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/raise_up_dated_pics/
A touch of snow over here at dinner time, all melted away now though.
Plenty of ice around today though, saw a bloke on the deck this morning after falling off his bike, looked nasty, ambulance job!
Heavy snow showers off and on here all day. Last one has left a covering of snow even on the roads. Too cold to melt now.
Up the hill it's a bit snowier and had to leave my car up there this morning after walking the dog as I only just made it up (25% gradient plus sharp bends on the steepest bits) as car was squirreling on the bends and then it started snowing again so I had to leave it up there until the road cleared. Wasn't driving down that wiithout good traction. Nice solid yorkshire stone walls to stop the car skidding!!
I was driving through the Peaks this morning on the A623 from North Manchester to Chesterfield. It got a bit interesting between Sparrowpit and Tideswell Moor :D
I can see the white stuff on the top of HolmeMoss from the attic window.
There was also a fair bit of ice whilst I was out for a 'xc' this morning, even on the pavements in (what passed for...) full sunshine
Lots of snow on the hills and it looks like there is some just a mile up the hill from me but none in Masham. Had an interesting time in Northallerton sliding about on icy pavements. Slipped twice but managed to remain upright using the proverbial windmill technique.
good cover up ont lakes fells
yup. snow on Bleaklow- deeep style.

steviek. If you want the pictures, drop us a line.
The weather in Saigon has been beautiful this week. Well above 30degrees C every day but not too humid and no snow. I think I might feel a bit cold when I get home on Saturday morning. Brrrrrrr :closed:
Most of the snow on Wansfell has been washed away - very gusty with intermittent sleet at present - it would be challenging to go outside, much less run/hike.
I had about 2 square inches of snow on my front lawn this morning...
Blue sky at the moment here but every now and then a heavy squall comes in and every thing is white over but it's too wet to stay.
Quite dramatic here just above Ambleside - very strong gusts at times, constant rain, Rothay Park is half under water, all the snow on Wansfell has been washed away, the road past the Low Wood Hotel is apparently under a foot of water ......
