40 mins Turbo in morning and a fantastic evening club run last night, steady start getting faster and faster, fantastic sunset.
the run was only spoilt by a pulled calf 200m from the car, hobbleing around at the moment but it doesn't feel too serious
having handed in my lab project (the bulk of my whole degree :O ) today I'm now back into training mode. Celebrated by falling asleep before being coaxed into a nice short jaunt around Rivelin in the sun. Legs weren't feeling too great after a few sedentary days but hopefully got the 'rubbish' run out of the legs.
There was a ginger kid playing football with his top off, he may regret that decision later...
Lunchtime run of 7.5 miles with 1200' climb. Cracking day out there :D
Best run I've had this year, not performance wise. The legs where stiff and tired before I'd even started. But for pure enjoyment a great run.
21miles and 3860ft ascent taking Creag Nam Gahbar, Loch Calleter, Carn an t-sagairt mor, the falls of Garbh Allt, and Invercauld Bridge en route
In fact I'd say I ran badly, but when its that much fun who cares
Wish I had applied some sun cream before I set off from Edale this afternoon , quick jaunt around the edge for 2 hours fantastic views but a tad too hot, made the pint of Celtic Gold in the Nags head go far too quickly. Red arms and knees to show for it, slow run but who cares

Yesterday evening: Hill reps x 12, just under 8 miles, a bit more than 1,200 ft of up/down, on bitumen/hard mud. 315s surprisingly comfortable. In Suffolk we have to make do with what we've got.

9m 3500ft

then tonight, took my daughter up to Back tor to watch the sunset then jogged gently back under head torch, superb night
3m dog walk/run this morning, slightly quicker 3m dog walk/run this evening, aching a bit after the Calderdale Hike yesterday, another nice day and a good weekend all round, if only i could go as fast as the weekends do!
A slow, difficult, cold-ridden 13.5 miles yesterday. Felt bad before and felt worse after! Not great.
Another good weekend in Lakeland. Out with Stef, Mrs Stagger and Hank on Saturday; just me and Stef yesterday. Nice to bump into Zoot both days and meet Fellgazelle yesterday. c30miles / 13,500ft over the two days
A few ups and downs around Kinder yesterday in baking heat for that real 'Tour de France' style suntan. 24 miles and 10,000'
Just a steady 5k around the local woods with the dogs.
Thats my second session of the day and hopefully I will get a few more in over easter.
yesterday I managed a good 12k road+trail, finishing it off with a bit of O and a slow slog up the hill and home, where I made cake and watched the IPL before going to running drills (or 'mincing' as I call it) for the first time.
Today I was suffering from DOMS so held off until the evening - some lovely O at Wombwell near Barnsley and no earlier training meant I applied for 2 jobs!
Steady 10 mile 1,500ft starting in Colne then running to Kelbrook and taking in Kelbrook fell race route then back to Colne!
First off road run since stuffing ankle a couple of weeks ago, all felt good happy days.

just about to go for a scoot around Central Park in New York City. Couldnt resist logging that
First Chevin Wednesday evening run of the year - 7.2 miles/1600feet 65 mins (+ waiting/regroup time). Felt good and strong throughout & pleased how quickly I've recovered from the Baildon Boundary Way on Sunday (which for me was a long race these days)!
Club run from Haworth. Circa 6ml and 600ft. Lovely evening and nice to catch up with club mates :)
I've been to my first club training run tonight with the legend that is Nee Bother!
Did a bit training in the pub after too....although I was a lightweight and only had a shandy....oops...wrong thread! :w00t:

Finally back out in the hills today after a few weeks off with injury, flew round the stretton skyline route this morning, quality day for it. Looking forward to a long easter break back in Lancs to get some proper training in on Pendle :)
First run in 10 days due to illness, 7 miles done round Eccup and bramhope in just over an hour nice and easy. Good to be back on my feet, bring on the Peaks :)
25m/3900ft with Dog, taking in parts of lots of races, Calderdale Way, Stoodley Pike, Noonstone, Shepherds Skyline, Pennine Bridleway, Race you to the Summitt and Blackstone Edge. Cracking day and very warm again in places, dog has discovered her first Pot Bellied Pig, look on her face said it all, WTF is that!
Only an easy hour/5.75 miles mostly on Bingley and Hawksworth moors - but at least it meant I completed my first 40+mpw for God knows how long :) (oh and took in parts of Burley Bridge Hike, Burley Moor Run, Dick Hudsons and Bradford Millenium Way race routes :) )
another good run out, an A to B route from Inverkirkaig, over to Suilven, on to Canisp a then slid all the way back to Inchnadamph more or less in a straight line
