I'm not sure why but I was thinking of you today Steve. good to see you are still out there.
Good stuff, Steve.
And I'm going to be wearing my Pony vest this weekend on my own Ultra comeback. Packed and ready to go.
It's Pony time again on them thar hills.
Have a good canter Tussockpony
To Run  well try!
On a different note I ran Manchester 10 k yesterday, was heart moving to see a young girl who was raising money for Stroke who looked like she had had a sever stroke but not completely sure.
I passed her with 5 or so lady helpers around her, she was walking for a little then into chair, on the way back I saw her from the other side of the road still doing the same walk a bit sit in chair a bit wave upon wave of runners applauded her as we passed, from the other side of the road, I know nothing about her, I know not of her circumstances, but one thing I am sure of is she to me was one of the bravest people I have seen--- hats off to you whoever you are.
Still some Fell Ponies about, 4 spotted today at the Angelzarke Amble, one lame one ran 24 miles with a broken fetlock!Attachment 8375
Quite by chance, Four-in-a-Row Fell Ponies occurred 90 minutes into the Anglezarke Amble. Photographic evidence was necessary as it seemed so improbable.
Thanks for posting, Steve.

Fell Ponies are always around. It's a way of thinking not a club
first rule of the Pony Club....
Like the Freemasons, secret and well out of the way.
About time we had another colour of vest.
I wonder if Hanneke would give up the monopoly on orange?
Classic black and white takes some beating imho
Maybe you could consider a Harlequins style composite vest Tuss made up of sections of vests from your six or seven clubs?
'Quins vest? Liking it! (Though they were rivals as I used to play for Wasps.)
I agree about the classic B&W, but aren't your vests starting to lose bits of text and logo?
My ponies could now only compete in para-events, having mislaid key limbs.
Calling all ballbags calling all ballbags
I can confirm I am still alive WGaF I hear you say and that would give me great pleasure........
