Re: Tonight's football thread
PS - As for the rags... how embarrassing? After that insulting offer for Baines and Feillani they deserve to fall flat on their arses this season. If Rooney goes, it will be a first round exit from Europe and a fifth place league finish. :w00t:
****ing shambles of a club

Ridiculous stuff Danbert. Daftest thing I've heard since a Forest fan told me last week they were going to win the league :w00t:

Re: Tonight's football thread
Feillani - I don't know what's been offered. seen figures of between £15 and £20 million. I think he's over-rated. bit of a lose cannon and mid Prem club is about his level. Can't believe that any club looking at winning the Prem and Champions league would consider him.
I'd put about £10 million value on him.
Baines is 29 this year. I don't think he's better than Evra other than his set piece ability. He's a good left back for a team looking at trying to make the top 4, but not for the top 4, unless they have a problem there.
Let's face it, he's been at Everton for 6 years and if he'd been that good, a big club would have forked out £15 - £20 million for him before now.
If Utd get either of these 2 and lose Rooney, then I think the noisy neighbours will finish above them this season.
Rooney needs to stay. He's amongst the 3 most valuable players at Man Utd without a doubt.

Re: Tonight's football thread
Erm..
Tight this year, City looked good last night.. looked Happy.. which if you send players of their quality out happy they will do well.
But City/United.. can't separate them.. but I think we need to sign and keep rooney to have good chance.
Chelsea third.. dropping Mata was strange.. their best player but still feel they are a tad flakey at the back.
Spurs 4th
Arsenal 5th unless they make big changes.
Hull, Palace, Cardiff to go down... normally I expect one to stay up... fancy Palace out of the 3 if any.. depends on how the NE clubs do..

Hopefully Pardew will be whinging next week after the Shrimps dump them out of the League cup, followed by a trip to the Job Centre the following morning
