Re: Tonight's football thread
I'm the first Gooner to admit we're looking a bit ropey, but every year someone predicts 5th with Spurs above and every year they're wrong!
Who knows maybe they'll be right this year :boohoo:
Personally I think it'll be the year of the nouveau rich with Chelski and City battling it out. Who knows who will come out top? It's like a Russian v Arab human rights abuse Top Trumps game - nothing between them......
Re: Tonight's football thread
Man Utd by 5 points. Rooney to stay and Moyes manager of the season. Wenger gone by Christmas
Re: Tonight's football thread
Just seen David Moyes in our 24 hour Tesco - he was offering 12p for a twix :w00t:
Re: Tonight's football thread
C'mon Arsenal 2-0 up away and looking positive. Normal gooner here, wondering when will it go wrong as I expect it to sooner or later.....
Good game to watch as well.
Re: Tonight's football thread
Villa deserved something from the match with Chelsea tonight. Not looking a bad side at the moment.

Re: Tonight's football thread
If De Gea flapped at crosses like hart is doing at the moment it'd be all over the press.. strange as he's class but at the moment he's a liability...

Looks like Man City are learning that copying the Man Utd method of patching together central defenders isn't going to work for them either. Hart has obviously no faith in them and he is getting into trouble as well.
Re: Tonight's football thread
First ever sell out at the Globe Arena tonight, advanced guard of Geordies already in town, off for a few scoots now on the way to the ground
